My favorite date
Each person has something special or important to remember. When we have something relevant that happened in our lives we remember everything without missing any detail. We can remember how something smells, tastes, how you felt at the moment of doing or watching something. We can explain the the simplest thing with a lot of details and transmit to others the feelings and thoughts that we had at that time. It is because special moments are unforgettable and each event is in our mind.
April, 1 st of 2007 was a beautiful sunny day. I woke up with the soft and relaxing singing of the birds, when I opened my window I could smell the fresh and calming nature air. I was very nervous and tense because that day was time to do one difficult and complicated exam. When I arrived at school, my classroom seemed quiet and boring, all people were afraid , angry and anxious but after the exam everything was calm and peaceful. I was talking with my friends when I listened the blaring ringtone of my cellphone, I felt my legs shivering and my hands sweating. I answered the call and listened his adorable lovely voice telling me: "would you like to have a date with me?". In that moment, everything stopped around me, I did not hear anything, in my mind only was that incredible proposal. After a pair of minutes I came back to the real world answering: "yes, it sounds great!, it is a good idea!".
I arrived to the place of my date, it was an elegant and perfect restaurant. It was very big with a modern decor; to go into the restaurant I had to cross the big crystal electric doors. Behind those doors, there were two gentle tall young waiters that helped me to find my dating table. When I was walking to that place I heard the romantic loud violin music that made me feel relaxed. Also, I saw the different couples; some of them were talking, others eating or kissing, that made feel strange and uncomfortable because I could sense the beautiful love that was in that place. In addition, I could smell the delicious food that was in the different tables, the only thing that I wanted was to arrive with my date, to order something delicious and to have a good time.
My date started in a good way. I was in front of that young man, he saw me and immediately he stood up, he gave me an innocent small kiss in my cheek. He was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans, he smelt delicious because he was using a fresh expensive perfume, in a few words, he looked very handsome. He took my hand and we sat down on the chairs. After talking for a few minutes I ordered a hot soup, a spicy piece of chicken and a bitter icy limonade, all my food was wonderful and extremely delicious. We were talking for a lot of time, I felt very happy and comfortable to be there and to be with him. The atmosphere was warm, calm and lovely, I could breathe peacefully and I felt relaxation streaming my veins. We were talking but suddenly he gave me a bunch of sweet smelling red roses and with a romantic and adorable voice he told me: would you like to be my girlfriend?. In that moment, I felt buterflies flying in my stomach, I was very surprised, and I felt that everybody was watching us. After a few minutes with a hesitant nervous voice I answered: " yes, I want it", and immediately he gave me a warm big huge.
As a conclusion, it is possible to describe every detail of a moment or situation, in special if it is an important event in our lives. Most of the time when we describe something we can transmit the feelings that we had in that moment and we can make that the person who is reading our essay can imagine everything as the same way that we lived it.
