MY EVOLUTION IN  ELECTRONIC LITERACY

Nowadays computers are  essential tool to  most of  the  people. At this time, it is used at  school to  do  homework, to  look for  specific  information, and to  do different teaching or  learning activities. Also it is used to  communicate, to  work or simply to  have fun. The most common  web tools that are used in this moment  are: social networks, search engines. Also the chat rooms  ,and  web pages where we can find different academic information that  help us to answer our  assigments are  commonly used. All these electronic tools  are very important because they help us in different aspects, such as: homework, job assignments, meet  people, communication, to have  fun, etc.

Using a computer or electronic tools is something important. The first time  that  I  used  a computer was at middle school when I was  12  years old. I started use it because I  had  a subject related  with basic computer programs and electronic tools. The first thing that I learnt was how to use word processors ( Word, and Power Point). When I used  “Word” I  transcribed  and  wrote different texts to practice and  use all the elements that there are in  word. To  practice  “Excel” and and “Power Point”, I only did some exercises but I  did not use all the options and elements that these two programs give us. Another thing that I learnt  to use in that time was the Internet. I started using  “Google” to look for information, Hotmail to  communicate with my classmates and with the teacher. Those classes helped me a lot of to introduce myself  in the computers world. On the another hand, at the  beginning it was a little difficult because I did  not have any idea  about computers with  and sometimes I  did not  remember everything , but with the practice I  could understand and use all the  things in the  correct  way.

The computers and electronic tools are important elements in the  daily  life. At this  moment it is  necessary  the use of these two things  because I  need to investigate information to fullfill my  homework or assignments. Also,  it is  important because with all  the new technology we can  communicate  with  other people in a easier way; in addition, there  are some  web pages  or electronic tools  that  can help me to develop  my  english skills. Nowadays, the search engines that I use are: Google and Academic Google, these are  tools to investigate  things that I need to  do my  homework. Moreover, I use Hotmail, and  Yahoo to  communicate with my friends, family, teacher etc. To have fun I  use  Facebook, Hi5 and Twitter. These are social networks where you can show to your friends or  to other  people  different things  such as: photographs, videos, opinions and  all the things that  you  want to show.

The new technology and the new electronic tools can change  life. In the future I  would like to  continue studying and preparing  myself. These things could be  possible with the help of the new electronic tools and computers. When I will finish my major, I  would like to take some online courses and a master`s degree. Also  the electronic tools can help  me in the future. At the moment  of giving classses or to use different ways to teach. That will be a good  tool to make easier the  students` leraning and at  the same  time  I can help them to use these elements as the  same way that I learnt and I used  them.

As  a conclusion, computers and electronic tools are important elements that are used  for almost all the people. These tools help us to do different things , they depend of our necessities  and they make our life easier in  a good way. Nowadays, we can do  things that in the  past  were impossible, for that reason, in this moment we can improve our knowlegde  and skills in the way that we want  because we  have  the necessary tools to do it.

MY EVOLUTION IN  ELECTRONIC LITERACY

MYSELF 

Knowing about the life of a person is very interesting because  we can  discover things that we had never  imagine. it does not matter if the  person is famous or not. All lives have important and relevant aspects. For this reason, this essay is  about my  life, it includes different  aspects  such as:  general  information, past  activities and my future plans. The purpose of this essay  is to show the most  important events that  are  part of me  and let  you  know who I  am. 

Tallking about  my general information, I can say  that my  name is Karla Ocampo  Morales, I  was  born on April 11th of 1990. I am from Mexico city  but I  moved to  Aguascalientes when I  was five  years old. I am living with my parents and I have a brother that is younger  than me. Talking about my likes and dislikes, I  have  to say that I love  to dance all kind  of music, also I like going out  to parties  with my  friends or my boyfriend. In addition, I like to go to the movies,  in special, the romantic, suspense and horror movies, also I  like dogs  and the  pink and purple colors. On the other hand, I do not  like hypocrisy, lies and people who are  pessimistic.

The  most  relevant  past events are  unforgettabl. During my  life I have lived important moments that I remember . One of them is my childhood.  In that stage I  was a worry- free girl. I used to spend all my time playing or watching tv, all my world was my toys, my  friends and cartoons. Another aspect that I remember was about my school. The  first  one is the elementary  school. In this stage the  most relevant aspect  was that every year I  moved from one school to another. In the middle  school, I  remember that  I met  two of my best friends and it was  the  stage  where I changed my  behavior, also  I became more  responsible and  I studied harder.  Finally, the  highschool was an amazing  moment  because  I met  a lot of people and in that stage I started going  to parties  and go out  with  boys. Other important aspects  were  the  activities that  I practiced such as: Hawaiin , Yoga and Belly dance.

One important thing  is to enjoy  the moment that we  are living  right now. Nowadays, I am studying the B.A in Engish Language  Teaching at the  UAA. I am  in the third semester and I like a lot of my  major because  I have excellent  teachers, I learn new things everyday  and  the most important is that  I  am studying  the major that  I want. Now I am  very  responsible person. I have my objectives very clear and I  try to do  my best  to achieve my  goals. At presen, I  only  work on vacation and  spend all my  time studying. I like  to  go out  with my friends  and  my  boyfrien.  In a few words I like   to  enjoy the life  every second and  to  do  the things  that I  want.

Every person  builds  his/her own  future. I have  different  plans inmy life  and  I  would like that  all of them  become real. The  first  one, is to finish my major  but with good  grades and with alot of  knowledge. After  that, I would like   to start  working  as a teacher  or translator, both  options would be  good. Also  , I  would like  to travel to England, USA, Canada and Italy  bacause  I think that it would  be an amazing  and  interesting  experience. In addition, another thing that is part of me future plans is to buy a beautiful car and  a big house. After that, I would like to study a master`s degree because it is necessary to get a better job. 

As a conclusion, the life of everyone has important and  relevant  aspects. We live  in the way that  we  want, also we do  the the  things that we want. for that reason I can say that we build our fate  everyday but  as we  know the plans can change according to the moment that we are  living and we have to choose the best option for us. In a  few words, it is necessary that we list the most important objectives and do the best to achieve them.
